Travel Makes The Heart Grow Fonder

My name is Marisa Yeager and welcome to PA to VA: The Wonders of Virginia. This is a blog about a travel. I have been learning photography for the past year during the quarantine, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to showcase my love for travel coupled with my newfound love for photography. Every week, I will be traveling to different parts of Virginia, and showing you "the road less traveled by." Each week I will be covering different aspects of the places that I visit ranging from food, the culture, how to get there, and show you the beauty of discovering a new place. I know that Covid-19 has put a damper on travel, and I will be taking the appropriate precautions outlined by the CDC when I am traveling to these places.

To tell you some more about myself, I am a current Senior at Longwood University in Farmville, VA studying Communication Studies with a Concentration in Public Relations. This blog is the creation of a project that I am going to complete by the end of this semester for one of my Communication courses. I wanted to blog about something that truly meant something to people, and to brighten their day as well as mine, so I thought, "Hey! What about a travel blog? Everyone loves those!" Plus, a lot of people during quarantine started these travel blogs so that once we were all free to go outside again, we could go safely to these places and explore. So, after realizing this, I got to work, and started to think of a few places that most people don't know about, and I hope that you are going to love them! You will also be seeing a few of my friends along for the ride as well, and I will be sure to introduce them to you when they come. This blog is also dedicated to my parents who are currently in quarantine, and don't have access to the outside world much. Mom and Dad if you are reading this, I love you, and I hope you like it!
